The 3mm thickness provides excellent acoustic performance, noise reduction, and impact resistance (cushioning to the floor), whilst evening out any subfloor imperfections. It features a very low thermal resistance (TOG rating of under 0.47) so is ideal for use with Underfloor Heating systems. It has a Sound Reduction rating of 19dB and is also non-dusting, non-toxic and CFC/HCFC free.
This Acoustic Super Gold Underlay offers exceptional performance as an acoustic insulation under laminates, and engineered and solid wood floors. Super Gold is a high-performance product with an integral silver foil vapor barrier with a joint overlap.
